Butterfly Back

    Design and Performance Features

The Butterfly Back introduces a new method for merging a fabric layer with polymer veins to create an intelligent support structure for your back. This, combined with the new loop spine, independent lumbar support and improved passive PostureFit® sacral support allow for a new level of personal contouring and micro-motion support.

    How It Works For You

Exceptionally responsive - conforms to your unique shape, seated postures and micro-movements, holding you in a healthy seated posture.

Greater range of upper body motion - new loop spine, enhanced passive PostureFit sacral support, and independent lumbar support allow the back to move in a great range while maintaining healthy support.

Cool and comfortable - the back shell design maximizes breathability and features Latitude, a fabric similar to ones used in technical clothing to avoid heat and moisture build-up. Mirra 2 offers a temperature-neutral sitting experience.

    Butterfly Back Demonstrations

Conforming features - Turn the back of the chair to face your audience and run the palm of your hand along the Butterfly back, showing the micro-responsiveness of the back design.

Flexibility and range of support - Grasp the edges of the Butterfly Back and bend back and forth to show how easily it flexes. Have audience members sit in the chair and duplicate the back and forth movement to feel the combination of flexibility and support.
